Scripture identifies this period clearly: “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months” (Revelation 13:5, KJV). This timeframe, “forty and two months,” equates to 1260 prophetic days, based on the day-for-a-year principle found in passages like Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6.
