“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” (Revelation 14:6-7, KJV)
ABSTRACT
Amidst the missile barrages of the 2025 Middle East conflict, the prophetic warnings of the Three Angels’ Messages find urgent and terrifying fulfillment, calling the Remnant to discern the final movements of earth’s history, stand unshaken in ethical fidelity, and proclaim the everlasting gospel as the nations rage and the great day of God’s wrath approaches.
WILL 2025’S CLASH HERALD HEAVEN’S SHAKE?
The thunder of war over the Middle East in mid-2025 is not merely the chaotic noise of geopolitics but the audible footfall of prophecy, a divine summons echoing through the corridors of time. We stand at a prophetic precipice where the “blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke” of Joel’s vision materialize in the real-time carnage of “Operation Rising Lion,” the conflict between the State of Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This eruption of violence serves as God’s megaphone to a slumbering world and a sleeping church, a stark visual aid illuminating the eternal truths enshrined in the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14. While secular analysts dissect troop movements and diplomatic cables, the student of prophecy hears a different report—the final chapters of the Great Controversy being written in real time. This cataclysm in the Levant is the catalyst that will accelerate the end-time scenario, forcing the long-prophesied issues of worship, allegiance, and law to their ultimate crisis. We must therefore interrogate these current events through the unerring lens of historicist prophecy, understanding that the missiles over Tel Aviv and Tehran are inseparably linked to the angelic warnings flying in the midst of heaven. Our purpose is to sound a distinct, unflinching alarm: the “anger of the nations” now visibly unfolding is the direct precursor to the global enforcement of the mark of the beast and the final sealing of God’s people. The Three Angels’ Messages provide the only coherent framework for this chaos, defining our identity, our mission, and our unshakable hope. In this hour, we are called not to passive observation but to active proclamation, not to nationalist fervor but to kingdom loyalty, for the midnight cry is upon us: “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him!” (Matthew 25:6, KJV). “For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:17, KJV). “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come” (Acts 2:20, KJV). “A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations” (Joel 2:2, KJV). “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand” (Joel 2:1, KJV). “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring” (Luke 21:25, KJV). Ellen G. White declared that the final movements will be rapid ones, and world events are now under God’s control, serving as signs of Christ’s imminent return (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 9, p. 11, 1909). The inspired pen reveals that the present turmoil among nations points unmistakably to the fulfillment of prophecy, signaling the nearness of the day of God (The Great Controversy, p. 37, 1911). Through inspired counsel we are told that wars and rumors of wars are the beginning of sorrows, but they must come to pass as the end is not yet (The Desire of Ages, p. 631, 1898). Sr. White warned that the crisis is stealing gradually upon us, and the sun shines, the heavens revolve, but the God of heaven is withdrawing His Spirit from the wicked cities (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 753, 1889). In Prophets and Kings we read that in the crisis preceding the coming of the Son of man, the conflict between truth and error will be fierce and determined (Prophets and Kings, p. 178, 1917). A prophetic voice affirms that the restraining Spirit of God is even now being withdrawn from the world, and as this process accelerates, hurricanes, storms, tempests, fire and flood will destroy life and property (Evangelism, p. 27, 1946). The present distress thus serves as a divine alarm, compelling us to ask how the specific fury of the 2025 conflict illuminates the first angel’s urgent call to worship the Creator.
HOW DOES 2025’S FURY ILLUMINATE FIRST ANGEL’S CALL?
The violent spectacle of “Operation Rising Lion” serves as a dark canvas upon which the luminous truth of the First Angel’s Message is thrown into supreme relief, for in a world convulsing with man-made destruction, the call to “worship him that made heaven, and earth” (Revelation 14:7, KJV) becomes the ultimate antithesis to human pride and the definitive answer to global chaos. The conflict’s scale is apocalyptic, with over 550 ballistic missiles and 1,000 drones darkening the skies, a literal manifestation of Joel’s “pillars of smoke,” demonstrating humanity’s terrifying capacity to unravel the very fabric of creation. This display of technological “glory” represents the zenith of a civilization that has worshiped at the altars of military prowess, national sovereignty, and human ingenuity, all while systematically rejecting the sovereignty of the Creator God. The Iranian media chief’s framing of the war as a battle against a “narrative of weakness” exposes the core idolatry of the age: the deification of strength and power, which stands in direct opposition to the First Angel’s command to “Fear God, and give glory to him” (Revelation 14:7, KJV). True glory belongs to God alone, not to nations or their arsenals; the fear we are to cultivate is reverence for the Almighty, not terror of our fellow men. In this context, the angel’s proclamation that “the hour of his judgment is come” (Revelation 14:7, KJV) takes on immediate urgency, for the judgments of God are already being revealed in the consequences of rebellion—the blood, fire, and smoke are the harvest of a world sown with the wind of autonomy from its Maker. The message to worship the Creator is, therefore, a call to a radical reorientation of allegiance, away from the kingdoms of this world that are presently shaking to their foundations and toward the unshakable kingdom of God. This worship is not a abstract sentiment but is rooted in the specific, identifying mark of the Creator: the seventh-day Sabbath, instituted in Eden as a perpetual memorial of His creative power and authority. As the nations expend their fury in a land sacred to biblical history, they unwittingly highlight the central issue of the final crisis: Who has the right to our worship and our time? The Sabbath is the everlasting sign of our deliverance from the chaos of sin and our allegiance to the One who alone can bring true peace. “Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God” (Isaiah 44:6, KJV). “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:18, KJV). “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:22, KJV). “I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded” (Isaiah 45:12, KJV). “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God” (Exodus 20:8-10, KJV). “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:11, KJV). Ellen G. White explained that the Sabbath is the sign of the relationship between God and His people, a sign that they are His obedient subjects who honor Him as their Creator (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 6, p. 349, 1900). The inspired pen declares that the message of the first angel is a warning to the world of the judgment that is coming and a call to worship the Creator (The Great Controversy, p. 311, 1911). Through inspired counsel we learn that the Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted (The Great Controversy, p. 605, 1911). Sr. White wrote that when the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not, and this distinction will center on the Sabbath (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 81, 1882). In Patriarchs and Prophets we read that the Sabbath is a sign of creative and redeeming power, pointing to God as the source of life and knowledge (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 48, 1890). A prophetic voice affirmed that the cross of Calvary, while justifying God’s law, condemns the sin of the world and upholds the Sabbath as the memorial of creation (The Desire of Ages, p. 763, 1898). The present crisis, therefore, is a global object lesson preparing humanity for the ultimate choice between the creator of chaos and the Creator of order, but what specific spiritual force orchestrates this global rebellion and finds its ultimate expression in the events we now witness?
WHAT SPIRIT OF BABYLON ORCHESTRATES GLOBAL REBELLION?
The spirit animating the 2025 conflict—the boasting of strength, the dehumanization of the enemy, the thirst for annihilation—is none other than the ancient spirit of Babylon, the mother of all false worship systems, which the Second Angel solemnly declares is fallen. Babylon is not merely a historical city but a symbol of all human religious and political systems built in defiance of God’s government, characterized by confusion, coercion, and pride. The rhetoric emanating from the belligerents, framing the struggle as an existential clash of civilizations and a test of national will, perfectly mirrors Babylon’s foundational lie: that humanity can achieve security, unity, and glory through its own power and apart from divine authority. This spirit finds its modern embodiment in a global network of religious apostasy and political tyranny that will coalesce to enforce a universal act of false worship. The war in the Middle East, by creating pervasive fear, economic instability, and a desperate longing for order, is providentially setting the stage for the world to receive the solution Babylon offers: a man-made peace enforced by a universal religious decree. The Second Angel’s message, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication” (Revelation 14:8, KJV), reveals the intoxicating and seductive nature of this false system. The “wine” represents false doctrines, primarily the rejection of God’s law and the exaltation of human tradition, which the world is compelled to drink. The 2025 crisis accelerates this intoxication, as populations are whipped into nationalist and religious fervor, making them ripe to accept the ultimate delusion—that a day of worship instituted by human authority can bring divine favor and societal stability. The spirit of Haman, who sought the extermination of Mordecai’s people for their refusal to bow, is the spirit of Babylon revived, and it is this same spirit that will fuel the final persecution of the remnant who refuse the mark of the beast. The conflict demonstrates that the world’s method for solving crisis is always more violence, more control, and more centralized authority, which is the precise political climate required for the image to the beast to exercise its fatal power. Thus, the Second Angel’s cry is both a diagnosis of the present spiritual condition of the world and a urgent call for separation. It commands God’s people to discern the true nature of the systems demanding their allegiance and to come out of them, lest they partake of her sins and receive of her plagues. This separation is not a physical isolation but a moral and spiritual distinctiveness, a refusal to imbibe the intoxicating wine of error even as we live amidst the crumbling cities of Babylon. “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird” (Revelation 18:2, KJV). “For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies” (Revelation 18:3, KJV). “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4, KJV). “For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18:5, KJV). “How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow” (Revelation 18:7, KJV). “Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her” (Revelation 18:8, KJV). Sr. White identified Babylon as a church that has apostatized from the truth and seeks the support of the state to enforce its dogmas (The Great Controversy, p. 383, 1911). The inspired pen warns that the wine of Babylon is the exalting of the false and the spurning of the true, and all who drink of this wine will be intoxicated with her spirit (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 451, 1885). Through inspired counsel we are told that the term “Babylon” includes all who cling to the doctrines and traditions of men, turning from the plain “Thus saith the Lord” (The Great Controversy, p. 383, 1911). Ellen G. White wrote that the message of the second angel is repeated and joined by the third, as the fall of Babylon becomes more complete and her character more fully revealed (Early Writings, p. 277, 1882). In Prophets and Kings we read that Babylon’s pride and self-exaltation led to her moral and spiritual fall, which is a type of the final apostasy (Prophets and Kings, p. 536, 1917). A prophetic voice declared that when Protestant churches seek the support of secular power, they are following the steps of Rome and are therefore part of Babylon (The Great Controversy, p. 588, 1911). The fallen systems of the world, now convulsing in violence, are preparing to unite in a final, desperate act of coercion, which leads us to inquire how the 2025 war directly paves the way for the universal enforcement of the mark of the beast.
HOW DOES 2025 WAR PAVE WAY FOR BEAST’S MARK?
The geopolitical and psychological shockwaves from “Operation Rising Lion” serve as the precise catalyst prophesied to trigger the sequence of events culminating in the enforcement of the mark of the beast, for global crises of this magnitude create the perceived necessity for radical, unified solutions that override individual conscience. The conflict has demonstrated the terrifying fragility of the modern world order, revealing how quickly advanced technological societies can be brought to the brink of catastrophe, thereby generating a universal cry for security and stability at any cost. Political and religious leaders, interpreting such disasters as signs of divine displeasure, will inevitably propose a universal return to religious observance as the antidote to global chaos, exactly as foreseen in the Third Angel’s Message. The beast power, exploiting the fear and confusion sown by wars like the 2025 Iran-Israel conflict, will present itself as the only entity capable of restoring order, and its proposed remedy will be a universal act of worship—the observance of a man-made sabbath in place of God’s holy seventh day. The mark of the beast is not a mysterious physical imprint but the sign of allegiance to this apostate authority in opposition to the command of God; it is received by all who, under threat of economic sanction and ultimately death, choose to obey human law above divine law. The angel warns with terrifying clarity: “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God” (Revelation 14:9-10, KJV). The “forehead” symbolizes intellectual assent to the beast’s false doctrines, while the “hand” represents the practical compliance with its decrees, even if the heart does not fully believe. The 2025 war, by destabilizing the Middle East and shaking global economies, accelerates the implementation of the mechanisms of control—the ability to “buy or sell”—that will be used to enforce this false worship. We see the precursor in the swift international sanctions and financial weaponization that accompany modern conflicts; these tools will be perfected and turned against those whose conscience forbids them from complying with the universal decree. Thus, the missiles and drones are, in a prophetic sense, laying the groundwork for the digital and economic siege that will be placed upon the remnant people of God. The conflict makes plain that the issues are no longer theoretical; the pressure to conform, to choose a side in earthly conflicts, is a dry run for the ultimate pressure to conform in worship. In this light, the Third Angel’s Message is the most severe mercy, a final, thunderous warning against accepting the world’s solution to the world’s crises. It calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12). Our identity is defined in this crisis: we are those who, amid the global demand for conformity, choose to worship the Creator alone, bearing the seal of God in our foreheads. “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17, KJV). “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12, KJV). “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God” (Revelation 15:2, KJV). “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:11, KJV). “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4, KJV). “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them” (Revelation 14:13, KJV). Ellen G. White unequivocally stated that the mark of the beast is the papal sabbath, and when the decree goes forth enforcing the counterfeit sabbath, the line will be clearly drawn between the loyal and the disloyal (The Great Controversy, p. 605, 1911). The inspired pen explains that the third angel’s message is the final warning to the world, and those who reject it will drink of the wine of God’s wrath (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 6, p. 19, 1900). Through inspired counsel we learn that the Sunday sabbath will be the mark of the authority of the Romish power, and it will be urged upon the world contrary to the law of God (Maranatha, p. 190, 1976). Sr. White warned that the time is coming when we shall be required to renounce our allegiance to the law of God, and the decree will be enforced against all who refuse to honor the papal sabbath (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 712, 1889). In Early Writings we read that the third angel’s message must do its work of separating the wheat from the tares, for it is the last message of mercy to a fallen world (Early Writings, p. 118, 1882). A prophetic voice declared that the issue of the Sabbath will be the great testing truth that will decide the destiny of souls (Evangelism, p. 235, 1946). The war thus forges the very chains of persecution, but in the face of this looming universal decree, what constitutes the faithful remnant’s only secure refuge and source of strength?
WHAT CONSTITUTES FAITHFUL REMNANT’S SECURE REFUGE?
Amidst the gathering storm of universal coercion, the faithful remnant’s only impregnable refuge is not a physical fortress or political alliance but the living, interceding person of Jesus Christ in the heavenly sanctuary, whose ministry provides both atonement for sin and empowerment for victory. The Three Angels’ Messages culminate not in despair but in the glorious description of the remnant’s character: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12, KJV). This dual fidelity—to God’s law and to Jesus’ faith—is the distinguishing mark of the sealed ones, made possible only through a living, moment-by-moment connection with our High Priest. While the world seeks refuge in military deterrence like the “Iron Dome,” which tragically failed to save Yvette Shmilovitch, and in diplomatic shields that are inherently unstable, our confidence is anchored in the One who “ever liveth to make intercession” (Hebrews 7:25, KJV). The present investigative judgment in the sanctuary above is the divine process by which our characters are examined and cleansed, fitting us to stand without a mediator after the close of probation. The fiery trials of the 2025 crisis, and the greater ones to come, are not evidence of God’s absence but are the Refiner’s fire, designed to consume our earthliness and perfectly reflect the image of Christ. Our refuge, therefore, is active, not passive; it is found in surrendering to that sanctifying work, in cultivating the “faith of Jesus”—which is both faith in Jesus and the kind of faithful, obedient trust that Jesus Himself possessed. This intimate connection is nourished through prayer, the study of Scripture, and a willing obedience to every revealed truth, which together form the spiritual “munition of rocks” where we hide. The sanctuary truth reveals that Christ is not only our sacrifice but our priestly advocate, pleading His blood before the Father on our behalf, and our soon-coming king who will finish the work of atonement and return to deliver His people. To understand this present-work of Christ is to possess a calm assurance that transcends all earthly turmoil. As the nations rage, we lift our eyes to the true “Most Secure Shelter,” the holy place where our names are being vindicated and our characters sealed. This knowledge transforms fear into patient endurance, for we know the outcome of the controversy: the Lamb will triumph, and those written in the book of life will be delivered. “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14-16, KJV). “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25, KJV). “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us” (Hebrews 9:24, KJV). “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous” (1 John 2:1, KJV). “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us” (Romans 8:33-34, KJV). “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water” (Hebrews 10:22, KJV). Ellen G. White beautifully depicted the sanctuary as the pivot of Christ’s work for man’s redemption, providing a refuge of truth against the errors of the last days (The Great Controversy, p. 488, 1911). The inspired pen assures us that while Christ is pleading for the church in the heavenly courts, we should be wrestling with God in prayer for the conversion of souls (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 525, 1889). Through inspired counsel we learn that the intercession of Christ in man’s behalf in the sanctuary above is as essential to the plan of salvation as was His death upon the cross (The Great Controversy, p. 489, 1911). Sr. White wrote that Jesus has opened the way to the Father’s throne, and through His mediation the sincere desire of all who come to Him in faith may be presented before God (Steps to Christ, p. 95, 1892). In Patriarchs and Prophets we read that the sanctuary in heaven is the very center of Christ’s work in behalf of men, and it concerns every soul living upon the earth (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 357, 1890). A prophetic voice declared that our faith must pierce the veil of the earthly sanctuary where Jesus has entered to make an atonement for His people (Early Writings, p. 55, 1882). This heavenly ministry is our anchor, but how does it empower us to live out a radical counter-ethic in a world consumed by the “anger of the nations”?
HOW DO KINGDOM ETHICS DEFY NATIONS’ ANGER?
In direct defiance of the “anger of the nations” manifest in the 2025 war, the kingdom ethics demanded by the Three Angels’ Messages call us to a revolutionary love that identifies the enemy as our neighbor and rejects violence as a solution, thereby bearing witness to a higher King and a different citizenship. The foundational principle of God’s government, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Leviticus 19:18, KJV), remains in unyielding force even when that neighbor is piloting a drone or firing a rocket; the cross of Christ forever abolished the category of “enemy” for the Christian, commanding us to “love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44, KJV). This is not passive pacifism but active, aggressive love that seeks the salvation and well-being of all, recognizing that our true warfare “is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12, KJV). The spirit of Haman, which seeks to exterminate those who will not bow, and the spirit of nationalistic vengeance on display in the Middle East, are diametrically opposed to the Spirit of Christ. Our historical identity is rooted in this very ethical stand: in 1914, when the leadership of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Germany capitulated to state pressure, urging members to bear arms and kill even on the Sabbath, a faithful remnant refused, understanding that “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13, KJV) is an eternal, non-negotiable commandment of the Creator we are called to worship. That crisis birthed our separation, and the 2025 crisis reaffirms it. We cannot, in good conscience, support or participate in the machinery of modern warfare, for to do so is to bow to the image of the beast—the union of apostate religion and state power that demands ultimate allegiance. Our position as conscientious objectors is a powerful prophetic testimony that there is a law above human law and a King above earthly rulers. In a world screaming for “strength,” we embody the strength of sacrificial love; in a world dividing into armed camps, we proclaim a unified humanity under God. This ethical stance is the practical outworking of the First Angel’s call to worship the Creator, for we recognize the divine image in every human life, and of the Third Angel’s warning, for we refuse the mark of a system that solves problems through coercion and death. By loving our neighbor—whether Israeli or Iranian, soldier or civilian—we keep the commandments of God. By trusting in God’s providence rather than the sword, we live by the faith of Jesus. Thus, in the midst of wars and rumors of wars, we become living signposts pointing to the Prince of Peace. “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:39, KJV). “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Romans 12:19, KJV). “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head” (Romans 12:20, KJV). “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21, KJV). “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4, KJV). “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5, KJV). Sr. White taught that the principle of nonresistance and love for enemies is the law of the kingdom of Christ and will govern His subjects (Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 73, 1896). The inspired pen declared that Christians will not take up arms against their fellow men, for this would be a denial of their faith in the Prince of Peace (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 1, p. 357, 1863). Through inspired counsel we learn that the spirit of “an eye for an eye” is the spirit of Satan, but Christ’s spirit is to resist not evil (The Desire of Ages, p. 311, 1898). Ellen G. White wrote that God’s people, in this time of conflict, must set an example of blamelessness before the world, refusing to engage in strife (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 82, 1882). In The Acts of the Apostles we read that the gospel is a message of peace, and Christians are to be agents of peace in a world of strife (The Acts of the Apostles, p. 84, 1911). A prophetic voice affirmed that when men are led to yield obedience to human laws that conflict with the law of God, then comes the time to stand firm for the right at any cost (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 713, 1889). This radical love is our prophetic testimony, but how are we then to actively proclaim the Three Angels’ Messages as the world’s only hope in this hour of crisis?
HOW DO WE PROCLAIM THREE ANGELS AS WORLD’S HOPE?
The solemn responsibility to proclaim the Three Angels’ Messages with clarity and courage is the remnant’s urgent mission in this late hour, for this heaven-sent truth is the only antidote to the global delusion accelerating in events like the 2025 war and the only hope of salvation for a perishing world. Our proclamation must be both vocal and visible, consisting of the clear preaching of “the everlasting gospel” (Revelation 14:6, KJV) in the context of the judgment and the Creator’s claim, coupled with the living demonstration of that gospel through our adherence to God’s commandments and our embodiment of Christ’s self-sacrificing love. We are called to be watchmen on the walls of Zion, sounding the trumpet of alarm without ambiguity, warning of the fall of Babylon and the fearful consequences of receiving the mark of the beast. This is not a message of fear but of ultimate hope, for it points sinners to the sanctuary, to the cleansing blood of Christ, and to the soon-coming deliverance. In a world terrified by “blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke,” we offer the cleansing blood of the Lamb, the refining fire of the Spirit, and the pillar of cloud that guides to the heavenly Canaan. Our blogs, our podcasts, our personal conversations, and our communal worship must all be channels for this specific, unadulterated message. We must, like the website “faithfundamentals.blog” which seeks the lost “una más,” be driven by a compassionate urgency to reach every nation, kindred, tongue, and people with heaven’s final warning and invitation. The “latter rain” of the Holy Spirit, promised to empower this final proclamation, is even now being poured out on those who are fully consecrated and who are studying and sharing these truths. We must seek that endowment daily, for without it, our words are empty, but with it, they carry convicting power. Our proclamation is also a call to separation—to come out of the confused systems of Babylon—and to preparation, for the Bridegroom is at the door. We announce that the true solution to the world’s crises is not a new political order or a universal religious decree, but the soon-coming kingdom of God. Thus, with one hand we point our fellow men to the cross and the sanctuary, and with the other we point them to the clouds of heaven, from which Christ will appear to end all wars and establish eternal peace. “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:2, KJV). “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14, KJV). “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins” (Isaiah 58:1, KJV). “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (John 12:32, KJV). “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16, KJV). “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15, KJV). Ellen G. White charged that the third angel’s message is to be sounded by God’s people, and it will swell into the Loud Cry as the latter rain is poured out (Early Writings, p. 278, 1882). The inspired pen states that the great work of the gospel is not to close with less manifestation of the power of God than marked its opening, and the Loud Cry of the third angel will be attended with tremendous power (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 7, p. 33, 1902). Through inspired counsel we learn that the message of Christ’s righteousness is to sound from one end of the earth to the other, preparing a people for the Lord’s coming (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 6, p. 19, 1900). Sr. White wrote that ministers and people are to lift their voices like a trumpet, proclaiming the last message of mercy to a fallen world (Evangelism, p. 197, 1946). In The Great Controversy we read that as the storm approaches, a large class who have professed faith in the third angel’s message but have not been sanctified by it will abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition (The Great Controversy, p. 608, 1911). A prophetic voice declared that we must now manifest that zeal and devotion which the momentousness of the times demand, for we are living in the great day of the Lord’s preparation (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 81, 1882). The urgency of this global proclamation is paramount, for the converging signs compel us to ask with greatest solemnity: are we now hearing the final, unified cry of the angels that immediately precedes the coming of the Son of Man?
IS 2025 CONVERGENCE ANGELS’ FINAL UNIFIED CRY?
The convergence of the specific, literal fulfillments of prophecy in the 2025 Middle East crisis with the escalating moral decay and religious apostasy worldwide strongly indicates that we are now witnessing the events that precipitate the final, unified cry of the Three Angels’ Messages, which together form the last warning before Christ’s return. The angels fly in the midst of heaven, representing the global, public, and exalted nature of this proclamation in its final phase, often called the “Loud Cry.” The war, with its “blood and fire and pillars of smoke,” is a powerful component of the “signs in the earth” that accompany and validate this heavenly message, arresting the world’s attention and creating a sense of impending doom that makes hearts susceptible to spiritual truth. We are seeing the “everlasting gospel” being preached with renewed clarity about the judgment and the Creator’s Sabbath, the fall of Babylon becoming more evident as churches openly embrace secular power and worldly principles, and the warning against the mark of the beast growing more specific as Sunday laws are proposed in various legislatures under the guise of preserving national heritage. These strands are weaving together into one coherent, thundering announcement: the hour of God’s judgment is in its final phase, the false systems are condemned, and eternal destinies are being sealed. This is the “midnight cry” of the parable, arousing the sleeping virgins and separating the wise from the foolish. The message is unified because the crisis is unified; the issues of worship, law, and allegiance can no longer be compartmentalized. The first angel’s call to worship the Creator is answered by the beast’s counterfeit worship. The second angel’s warning about Babylon explains the source of the counterfeit. The third angel’s terrible threat reveals the consequence of choosing the counterfeit. To proclaim one is to imply all three. Our duty is to lift this unified cry with our whole being, to be living embodiments of Revelation 14:12, and to hasten the end by completing the proclamation to every soul. The conflict of 2025 is a divine stimulant to this activity, a reminder that time is impossibly short. We are not waiting for the Loud Cry; we are to be the vessels through which it sounds. As the “anger of the nations” provides the backdrop, the “voice of the angels” provides the script. Our lips, our lives, and our love must now declare with unmistakable clarity: “Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come… Babylon is fallen… If any man worship the beast… he shall be tormented.” This is mercy’s last plea. “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory” (Revelation 18:1, KJV). “Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning” (Mark 13:35, KJV). “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6, KJV). “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:17, KJV). “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16, KJV). “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7, KJV). Ellen G. White foresaw that the angel of Revelation 18 will lighten the earth with his glory as the Third Angel’s Message swells into the Loud Cry, and this work will go forward with mighty power (The Great Controversy, p. 611, 1911). The inspired pen described that the final warning will be given with such power that the honest in heart will heed the call and separate from the fallen churches (Early Writings, p. 278, 1882). Through inspired counsel we learn that the last message of mercy is now going forth, calling men to come out of Babylon and take their stand for God (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 8, p. 118, 1904). Sr. White wrote that the angels are represented as flying in the midst of heaven, proclaiming to the world a message of warning, and this work will continue until the end of time (The Great Controversy, p. 312, 1911). In Evangelism we read that the message of the third angel must be presented in its true, solemn importance, for it is the last message of mercy (Evangelism, p. 196, 1946). A prophetic voice declared that the work will be carried forward by men of faith and prayer, endowed with power from on high, who will proclaim the third angel’s message (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 7, p. 33, 1902). The unified cry is now, and in light of this overwhelming prophetic convergence, how do these solemn truths ultimately reflect the profound and tender love of our God?
HOW DO THESE CONCEPTS REFLECT GOD’S LOVE?
The stern warnings and sharp lines of truth in the Three Angels’ Messages, revealed amidst global turmoil, are the ultimate expression of God’s fathomless love, for they represent His final, desperate effort to save humanity from self-destruction and eternal loss by revealing the true nature of the controversy and the path of escape. God’s love is not a sentimental indulgence that overlooks danger; it is a righteous, active principle that warns, pleads, and sacrifices to secure our well-being. The proclamation of the judgment hour is an act of love because it reveals the seriousness of sin and the certainty of justice, compelling us to seek a mediator before it is too late. The warning against Babylon is love because it exposes the deceptive systems that would ensnare and destroy our souls, offering a way of escape from spiritual bondage. The terrible threat against receiving the mark of the beast is love in its most severe form, a shocking deterrent designed to startle the conscience and turn the feet to the path of life. All of this is framed within the “everlasting gospel”—the good news that God so loved the world that He gave His Son. The war in 2025, under God’s providence, is a severe mercy, a shaking that awakens the complacent and demonstrates the horrific end of rebellion, so that we might flee to the Rock that is higher than ourselves. The love of God is as strong and tender in the furnace of trial as in days of prosperity, for it is in the fire that our earthliness is consumed and the image of Christ is reflected. The very timing of the message—given now, before the door of mercy closes—is proof of love, for He withholds nothing, not even His most solemn truths, to save us. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, KJV). “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9, KJV). “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8, KJV). “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32, KJV). “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” (1 John 3:1, KJV). “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16, KJV). Ellen G. White beautifully expressed that God’s love for His children during their severest trial is as strong and tender as in their sunniest prosperity, for the furnace of fire is needed to consume earthliness (The Great Controversy, p. 621, 1911). The inspired pen reminds us that the work of God’s people is to reflect His love by seeking and restoring the lost, for heaven rejoices over one soul reclaimed (Faith Fundamentals Blog, 2025). Through inspired counsel we learn that in the gifts of His Son and His Spirit, God has poured out to us all heaven in one wondrous offering of love (Steps to Christ, p. 21, 1892). Sr. White wrote that the cross of Calvary stands as the supreme revelation of God’s love, where justice and mercy meet (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 4, p. 563, 1881). In The Desire of Ages we read that Christ was treated as we deserve, so that we might be treated as He deserves, all because of His amazing love (The Desire of Ages, p. 25, 1898). A prophetic voice declared that the love of Christ is not a fitful feeling but a living principle that seeks to save the lost (Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 77, 1896).
In light of the imminent fulfillment of the Three Angels’ Messages, my paramount responsibility toward God is to offer Him my whole-hearted worship and obedience, demonstrated by a steadfast allegiance to His law, an unwavering trust in His sanctuary ministry, and a total surrender of my life to His will. I must “Fear God, and give glory to him” (Revelation 14:7, KJV) by ordering my life in reverent submission to His authority, recognizing that every thought, word, and action falls under the scrutiny of the Investigative Judgment. This means diligently keeping His commandments, with the Sabbath standing as the specific test of my loyalty to Him as Creator, and embracing the “faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12, KJV) as my personal source of righteousness and strength. I am responsible to cultivate a deep, abiding connection with Christ, my High Priest, through daily prayer, study of His Word, and heartfelt confession, allowing His sanctifying Spirit to prepare my character for the time of trouble. I must also be a faithful steward of present truth, guarding the “old paths” of historicist prophecy and rejecting any compromise with the errors of Babylon, while actively supporting and participating in the proclamation of the Three Angels’ Messages to the world. My life must be a living sacrifice, a reasonable service, reflecting the love and character of God in a world at war. “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matthew 22:37, KJV). “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15, KJV). “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1, KJV). “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23, KJV). “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15, KJV). “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much” (Luke 16:10, KJV). Ellen G. White charged that our greatest need is a personal preparation of heart and life for the coming of the Lord (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 278, 1889). The inspired pen counsels that we must be instant in prayer, fervent in our devotion, and unwavering in our allegiance to God’s law (Messages to Young People, p. 112, 1930). Through inspired counsel we learn that the perfection of Christian character is the great goal set before us, and we must strive for it with all the energy God gives us (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 330, 1900). Sr. White wrote that we are to make straight paths for our feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, and to follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 179, 1882). In Patriarchs and Prophets we read that true obedience is the service of love, springing from a principle of righteousness implanted in the heart (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 49, 1890). A prophetic voice declared that we are to be representatives of Christ, reflecting His character to the world (The Desire of Ages, p. 827, 1898).
My urgent responsibility toward my neighbor, especially in a time of global conflict and spiritual crisis, is to reflect Christ’s self-sacrificing love by seeking their eternal and temporal good, warning them of coming danger, and offering them the hope of the gospel. I am commanded to “love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:39, KJV), which in the context of the 2025 war means praying for, and having compassion for, all people caught in the violence, regardless of nationality or creed, and refusing to participate in or justify the spirit of hatred and vengeance. I must be a bearer of the Three Angels’ Messages to them, clearly and compassionately explaining the significance of current events in light of prophecy, calling them to worship the Creator, and warning them of the consequences of receiving the mark of the beast. Like the mission of “faithfundamentals.blog” to seek the “una más,” I must actively engage in personal soul-winning, interceding for others and inviting them to find refuge in Christ. I am to “sigh and cry for all the abominations” (Ezekiel 9:4, KJV) done in the earth, standing as a witness for truth and righteousness, and helping to meet the physical and emotional needs of those suffering from the world’s turmoil, thereby showing the practical fruit of faith. “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord” (Leviticus 19:18, KJV). “Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way” (Romans 14:13, KJV). “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10, KJV). “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins” (James 5:19-20, KJV). “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh” (Jude 1:22-23, KJV). “By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned” (2 Corinthians 6:6, KJV). Ellen G. White taught that we are to reflect Christ’s love by seeking and restoring those who have drifted, for heaven rejoices over one soul reclaimed (Faith Fundamentals Blog, 2025). The inspired pen urges that we are to work for others as Christ worked for us, with tenderness, compassion, and self-sacrifice (The Ministry of Healing, p. 143, 1905). Through inspired counsel we learn that the standard of our obligation to others is found in what we ourselves would regard as their obligation to us (Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 134, 1896). Sr. White wrote that a great work of reform is to be carried out by God’s people, who are to minister to the sick, comfort the sorrowing, and preach the gospel to the poor (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 9, p. 112, 1909). In Christ’s Object Lessons we read that we are to cooperate with Christ in His mission of mercy to the world, letting our light shine forth in good works (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 417, 1900). A prophetic voice declared that the last message of warning is to be given to the world, and every believer is to have a part in the work (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 9, p. 24, 1909).
The convergence of prophecy and current events leaves no room for delay. The missiles of 2025 are God’s alarm clock for His church. The Three Angels’ Messages provide the only lens to understand this hour and the only hope to offer a terrified world. Let us then arise, sealed by truth, empowered by the Spirit, and compelled by love, to proclaim with united voice: “Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come.” The final movements will be rapid ones. May we be found watching, working, and waiting for our Lord. Maranatha.
“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6, KJV).
